About Us

Zanzibar Mikumi Selous Safaris is the southern-safari website of Lion Crest Expeditions, a licensed and registered tour operator based in Arusha, Tanzania.

We made this site for one kind of traveller: people who are coming to Zanzibar, or flying into Dar es Salaam, and want to add a real safari without a long journey. Mikumi and Selous are the two parks closest to the coast, and we focus on doing them well: clear prices, private vehicles and guides, and honest advice about which park suits you.

Lion Crest was founded by Laizer, who plans every trip and works with experienced local guides, drivers, airlines and camps. Every booking is handled by the same team, from your first message to the end of your trip.
