An hour in a small plane replaces a full day on the road. You land in the middle of the Serengeti, your guide is waiting with the vehicle, and the safari starts on the airstrip.
You spend two nights in a tented camp in the central Serengeti, then drive back east through the highlands, sleep near the crater rim and go down into the Ngorongoro Crater on the last morning.
Your vehicle drives to the Serengeti the day before to meet your plane; that is included in the price. The small plane allows about 15 kg of luggage per person in a soft bag.

Day 1
Fly into the Serengeti
Arusha Airport → Seronera airstrip, central Serengeti
We take you from your Arusha hotel to Arusha Airport for a morning flight on a scheduled small plane to the Seronera airstrip. It is a little over an hour, longer if the plane stops on the way. Your guide meets you with your private vehicle, you game drive to camp for lunch, and go out again in the afternoon.

Day 2
A full day in the Serengeti
Central Serengeti
The plains and river valleys around Seronera hold lions, leopards and cheetahs all year, with elephants, giraffes, buffalo and hippos. Depending on the month, the great herds may be within reach too. Go out early and come back for lunch, or take a picnic and stay out all day.
