This is a ready-made plan for travellers booking from home. We put the safari early in the trip, so you go out while you are fresh and finish your holiday with three quiet nights by the sea.
We choose a mid-range beach hotel and a safari lodge with you when we confirm your dates. If you prefer another beach area or a better hotel, we price it for you.
Day by day
Day 1: Arrive on Zanzibar
We meet you at Zanzibar's airport and drive you to your beach hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Mikumi
Morning flight to Mikumi, game drive with your guide, lunch, and an afternoon drive until sunset.
Day 3: Morning in Mikumi and back to the beach
An early game drive, then the flight back to Zanzibar and our driver to your hotel.
Day 4: A day at the beach
A free day by the sea. Ask us if you would like to add a boat trip or a visit to Stone Town.
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to Zanzibar's airport for your flight home.
Small planes allow about 15 kg of luggage per person, hand luggage included, best in a soft bag; we confirm your airline's limit when we book. Flights can be delayed by weather or air traffic; if that happens, we adjust the day so you lose as little time in the park as possible.

Can we change the order?
Yes. We usually put the safari early so you can rest afterwards, but we can move it to suit your flights.
Can we add more beach days?
Of course. Tell us how many nights you want on Zanzibar and we add them at the hotel's rate.
Which beach do you use?
We suggest an area based on your wishes and the season, and name the hotel when we confirm your dates.
What if our international flight arrives late?
No problem: day 1 is only the transfer to your hotel, so late arrivals are fine.
