Safari with children works best when the days are short and there is time to rest. This week is planned that way: drives of a few hours, afternoons at the pool, a Maasai village, and the big parks in small doses.
You fly into Kilimanjaro, rest at a lodge near Arusha, then visit Tarangire, Karatu, the Serengeti and the crater. In the Serengeti the day follows a family rhythm: a morning drive, lunch and a rest at camp, and another drive in the late afternoon.
Children aged 5 to 15 sharing with their parents pay less, and children under 5 much less; see the price table. Family rooms and connecting tents are limited, so book early and tell us the children's ages.
