The same scenic route as our 7-day Machame climb, one day shorter. Day 4 goes from Barranco all the way to Barafu, so this version suits fit hikers who have been to altitude before.
You still get the 'climb high, sleep low' day via the Lava Tower, but with one less night to adjust before the summit. If you have the time, the 7-day version gives your body more time and a better chance of reaching the top.
Your private team includes licensed guides, a cook and porters; a porter carries your main bag.

Questions
Before you book
6 or 7 days on Machame?
Seven if you can: the extra day improves acclimatisation and your chance of the summit. Six suits fit hikers with altitude experience.
Is the Barranco Wall dangerous?
It is a scramble with hands on the rock in places, not technical climbing. Your guides show you every step.
Who carries the luggage?
A porter carries your main bag; you carry a day pack with water, snacks and a jacket.
