Arrival
Your guide meets you as you come out of Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to your hotel to rest. The safari starts the next morning.
Time to really know the Serengeti
Zebras and wildebeest at a waterhole.
Most safaris give the Serengeti one or two nights. This one gives it four, moving between areas of the park, so you see more than one side of it and have time to wait for the moments that make a safari.
You start and end at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After a night to rest, Tarangire opens the trip, then four days in the Serengeti and a last full day in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater floor.
Choose between mid-range lodges, named when you book, or a set of luxury lodges named in our plan. Prices for both are in the table.

Tarangire is known for its big elephant groups and its giant baobabs, trees that can live for hundreds of years. In the dry season the river is the only water around, so herds of elephants gather there with many other animals.

The Serengeti is the most famous safari park in Africa, best known for the Great Migration, and home to large numbers of lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. Over four days you explore different areas of the park with your guide, following the herds and the cats, with plenty of time to stop and watch.

The Ngorongoro Crater formed when a huge volcano erupted and collapsed, about 2.5 million years ago. Its floor holds one of Africa's highest concentrations of animals: lions, zebras, buffalo and black rhinos all around you, under the crater walls.
Depending on your flight time you can relax at the lodge a little longer before the drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Luxury lodges are confirmed when you book. Prices are for 2, 4 or 6 people; ask us for other group sizes.
