Ruaha is big, remote and visited by few people. Rugged baobab country along the Great Ruaha River, with large elephant herds and strong predator numbers. The quickest way in is by small plane.
You fly from Dar es Salaam to the Msembe airstrip, about 2 to 2½ hours, and the camp's vehicle meets you. For three nights the camp runs your game drives with its own guides, usually shared with other guests.
Days follow the rhythm of the bush: out early, back for brunch and a rest in the heat, out again until the light fades.
